Therapy that honors who you are, not who you're 'supposed' to be
Maybe you've been performing "fine" for so long you've forgotten what you actually feel. Or maybe you're past the point of pretending and just exhausted.
Either way, you're here because something underneath is asking for attention. The anxiety, the patterns, the sense that you're living a life that doesn't quite fit.
You're not looking for surface-level coping. You're looking for therapy that helps you understand why things feel stuck, reconnect with what actually matters, and build something sustainable.
That's the work we do here.
Hi, I’m Candace,
I'm a licensed therapist (MA, LMHC, she/her) and I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience as a neurodivergent person.
I work with adults ready to go deeper than surface-level coping. People looking to understand patterns, challenge old beliefs, and build lives that actually feel sustainable.
My approach is: Warm, relational, and rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I use humor, parts work, and direct (compassionate) challenges. I work with your nervous system, not against it.
I specialize in: Complex trauma, identity, anxiety and burnout, perfectionism and people-pleasing, body liberation and eating struggles, family systems and cycle-breaking work.
My practice is: Fat-liberationist, neurodiversity-affirming, anti-diet, anti-oppression, and queer-affirming. If you're tired of therapy that pathologizes difference or demands conformity, this might be the right fit.
